“The value of Uplay+ is that you not only get access to our catalog of more than 100 games and DLC, but you also will be able to enjoy our upcoming releases,” Ubisoft’s VP of platform and product management Brenda Panagrossi said in a press release. “Uplay+ subscribers will be able to play Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Watch Dogs Legion premium editions. Couple that with upcoming games like Gods & Monsters and Rainbow Six Quarantine, Uplay+ is packed with new releases in the first 12 months for only $14.99 per month.”

With Uplay+, subscribers can download games to their PC. Ubisoft says the service will have 40 premium editions at launch, with DLC and expansions included, naming specifically all 48 Operators from Rainbow Six Siege and all 18 Assassin’s Creed assassins.
Ubisoft is up against several other game streaming services. Both Xbox and Sony offer subscription plans for gamers, as does EA. Google Stadia is coming this fall too, and will likely include access to several titles on this list including new releases. After all, Google partnered with Ubisoft for Project Stream, a Stadia predecessor that saw Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey running on a Chrome browser. A deep dive into the publisher’s library helps, but fans looking to get the latest and greatest from Ubisoft still have plenty of options.
Uplay+ will launch on September 3 for advance subscribers, with a free trial period running until September 30.
